Alpine slopes right from the cabin, a large cross-country trail network, views over the Gudbrandsdalen valley and activities for the whole family, winter and summer.
Hafjell Alpine Centre hosted the technical alpine events at the 1994 Lillehammer Olympics. Today it is one of Norway's best ski resorts, with runs for every level.
From the cabin you head straight out onto the slopes, and you can ski all the way home after the last run.

Restaurant Vidsyn sits about 1,000 metres above sea level, at the top of the slopes. Floor-to-ceiling windows give a view over the Gudbrandsdalen valley from every table, making it a natural place to warm up and eat in the middle of a ski day.

Wide runs at the top and narrow trails through the spruce forest mean that both the youngest and the most experienced skiers find something to suit them. It is a short way back to the cabin when someone needs a break.

The late-afternoon sun over the Gudbrandsdalen valley is one of the finest things Hafjell has to offer. Take the last run down towards the cabin as the sun sets.

Hafjell and the surrounding mountains have many kilometres of groomed cross-country trails, with routes for beginners and for those who want to go far.

In summer the area opens up for cycling in varied terrain. At Sætra at the top there is a pump track where the kids can ride to their heart's content.

Hafjell Golf is one of Norway's most scenic golf courses, and mountains for summit hikes are a short trip away.
Lillehammer is about 20 minutes away by car, with restaurants, shops and culture.
The cabin sleeps 12 guests in seven bedrooms, with ski in/ski out.
